"FOR THE CHILD WHO DOESN'T FIT THE MOLD"

Your child isn't broken. They're just wired differently.

Most Programs ask high energy, creative kids to sit still, be quiet, and fit in. We do the opposite.

About me

Hi Let me introduce myself, my name is Jade, sometimes referred to as Si-je, (older sister) by my formal description in Wing Chun. I began my martial arts training full-time at the Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy in March 2005. Accepted by Grandmaster Cheung and first instructed by Sifu Julian De Bores, I have had the honor to learn from various, Interstate and International teachers from all over the world including the U.S, Canada, Greece and the Netherlands for short and extended periods of time.

There I taught children's classes on weekends as the Wing Chun Children's Instructor every weekend, and adults classes as required. I took part in demonstrations, assisted with primary school groups, women's self defense classes and ran one-on-one coaching for private lesson clients as well as fitness sessions. After leaving the Academy, I took on a 6 week Martial Arts Program for year 11 and 12 student at Fitzroy Highschool as part of their extra-curriculum activities.

More recently, I have worked for Little Sports heroes running Children's sports activities in daycare centers, and Kid's Unlimited, who specialize in before and after-school activities for primary school children. After learning about my own unique challenges, I spent years learning and refining until I finally found what works.

Why I built this program

I was that kid. The one who struggled with Sensory Processing and ADHD, but back then, we didn’t have the labels or the language for it. I grew up navigating a world that felt overwhelming without a manual to explain why.

It wasn't until adulthood that I truly understood my brain. I spent years deconstructing my challenges and building my own systems for success. I learned how to master my executive function, regulate my sensory input, and turn what I thought were "weaknesses" into my greatest strengths.

As a teacher, I see these same kids every day. I see them struggling to fit into systems not designed for them. I made it my mission to pass on everything I’ve learned—the shortcuts, the systems, and the strategies—that changed my life.Wing Chun Athletics is the result. I know how to reach these kids because I am one of them. I believe that leading with strengths rather than fixing "deficits" is the difference this market needs.

I’ve turned that belief into a high-performance manual for the neurodivergent brain. We use a structured, systems-based approach to teach kids how to master their sensory input and sharpen their executive function. By turning their natural intensity into a lifelong tool for success, we ensure they don’t just ‘get by’-they learn to lead with their strengths and own their future.”
